Residential Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised Residential Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a private residence in Abuja. The role is senior, full‑time and involves managing staff, coordinating service providers and acting as the principal’s operational point of contact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and presentation of the residence, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and service.
• Supervise household staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers and other domestic personnel, managing schedules, performance and leave.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors and maintenance providers, ensuring quality work and adherence to household procedures.
• Control household inventory, procurement and supplies, maintaining accurate records and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare the residence for guests, events and special occasions, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Maintain complete confidentiality and act as the primary operational point of contact for the principal.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience with supervisory or management responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, set expectations and hold staff accountable without constant direction.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
• Professional demeanor, calm under pressure and high level of discretion.
• References from previous employers are required.
