Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will support Laiedon Innovations by generating new leads, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the growth of our retail, fashion and FMCG portfolio. This entry‑level position combines outbound outreach, pipeline management and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective clients, market opportunities and relevant contacts to feed the sales pipeline.
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email and other channels to engage prospects and create new business opportunities.
• Maintain prospect information, interactions and pipeline activity in CRM and related business tools.
• Support email and calendar management, ensuring timely follow‑up with leads.
• Qualify prospects, understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Provide customer support by responding to inquiries and assisting with follow‑up activities.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting and record keeping.
• Track outreach efforts and pipeline progress against set targets.
• Develop a solid understanding of the company’s products and services to communicate value effectively.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development or lead generation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Results‑driven mindset with focus on achieving sales targets.
• Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using ClickUp for task and pipeline management.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
