Business Development Officer – Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth and forge strategic partnerships for our residential and commercial real‑estate portfolio in Lekki, Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, new opportunities and untapped segments in the real‑estate and investment sector.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, referrals and online platforms, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, investors and corporate partners to increase business growth and client retention.
• Negotiate and close sales of residential, commercial and investment properties while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with corporations, financial institutions, real‑estate agents and other stakeholders to expand market presence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Economics or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum five years of proven experience in business development, property sales or investment sales within the Nigerian real‑estate market.
• Deep understanding of property valuation, investment analysis and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of engaging high‑net‑worth individuals and institutional investors.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for lead and pipeline management.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with property listing platforms and digital marketing tools, including social media for lead generation.
