Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth of our cybersecurity portfolio across enterprise and financial services customers in Nigeria. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process, build trusted relationships with security leaders and expand our channel ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of enterprise and financial services accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos/POCs with technical support, proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Sell the portfolio of Vigil, Crudguard, Aurora and Drift, aligning solutions with customers’ risk, compliance and security priorities.
• Develop and nurture relationships with CISOs, security and risk leadership, addressing regulatory drivers such as CBN, NDPA, PCI‑DSS and ISO 27001.
• Establish and grow channel and partner relationships with MSSPs, resellers and advisory firms.
• Lead RFP/RFI responses and coordinate security and compliance due‑diligence activities.
• Own quarterly pipeline and revenue targets and report performance.
• Provide market and competitive insights to inform product development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales or business development experience, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS or fintech.
• Proven track record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals and consistently meeting quota.
• Experience selling to CISOs and security/risk buyers with solid understanding of security and compliance concepts.
• Strong network within financial services or other regulated enterprises is a major plus.
• Consultative, self‑directed and comfortable in a fast‑moving, founder‑led environment.
