Business Development Associate

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Associate to drive growth in the tech media segment of our advertising and communications business. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships and delivering compelling proposals to win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in the tech media sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors and partners.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, competitor activity and growth areas.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations and pitches.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and operations to improve visibility and conversion.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and report to management.
• Represent the company at expos, networking events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience in the marketing sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in tech media services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Reside on the mainland.
