Business Analyst

About the role

Primote Africa is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Retail, Fashion & FMCG team in Lagos. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that requirements are captured, documented, and translated into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements.
• Engage stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and processes.
• Conduct business process analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement‑gathering sessions.
• Support solution design, evaluate proposals, and participate in testing and UAT.
• Track requirements, changes, risks, and project dependencies.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
