Boiler Supervisor

About the role

The Boiler Supervisor will support the design, modification and maintenance of boiler systems at Dangote Petroleum & Petrochemicals, ensuring efficient operation and strict adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and modification of boiler systems to meet engineering requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to guarantee optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Support senior engineers and supervisors in troubleshooting operational issues.
• Document technical specifications, maintenance records and inspection reports accurately.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise boiler performance and overall operational efficiency.

Required profile

• B.Eng. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in boiler design, operation and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Membership with COREN, NSE or other recognised engineering bodies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics principles.
• Knowledge of fluid‑mechanics concepts.
