About the role
The school is seeking a motivated Basic Technology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to secondary‑school students. You will be responsible for both theoretical instruction and hands‑on workshop activities, fostering practical problem‑solving skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Basic Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach technical drawing, materials, tools, machines, safety, and basic technology concepts.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and activities, ensuring safe use of tools and equipment.
- Prepare assignments, tests, and examination materials and assess students’ theoretical and practical knowledge.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Technology Education, Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the secondary‑school Basic Technology curriculum.
- Practical knowledge of tools, materials, and technical processes.
- Teaching experience is an advantage.
