Baker

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Baker to join our production team at En'point Bakery Limited. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of bread and bakery products while ensuring strict adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food‑safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare doughs by accurately weighing and measuring all ingredients and operating spiral mixers.
• Carry out dough cutting, weighing, moulding, panning, proofing, and baking according to approved schedules.
• Monitor mixing time, dough temperature, and development to achieve consistent product quality.
• Inspect finished loaves for weight, size, colour, texture, taste and appearance; report any deviations.
• Maintain production records, batch identification, and ingredient usage logs.
• Control waste by scaling dough accurately and minimizing over‑production.
• Perform pre‑start equipment checks, operate mixers, dividers, moulders, proofers, rotary ovens and slicers, and report any faults immediately.
• Uphold personal hygiene, wear required PPE, and follow cleaning, sanitation and pest‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least 24 months of bakery production experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures without unauthorized changes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food‑safety standards.
• Willingness to report material issues, equipment faults, and safety concerns promptly.

Required skills

• Operation of spiral mixers, dough dividers, moulders, proofers, rotary ovens and slicers.
• Accurate weighing and measuring of bakery ingredients.
• Basic equipment maintenance and fault reporting.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food‑safety practices in a bakery environment.
