AutoCAD Designer – Furniture & Wood Joinery

About the role

We are seeking an AutoCAD Designer to create detailed designs and technical drawings for furniture, cabinetry, and custom wood joinery. The role involves turning client concepts into 3D models and production‑ready drawings while collaborating closely with the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for furniture, cabinetry and custom wood joinery.
• Create renders and presentation materials to communicate design intent.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes and joinery methods based on project specifications.
• Work with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and practical.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and production, revising designs as needed.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience in furniture design or wood joinery.
• Strong understanding of woodworking materials and joinery techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with V‑Ray.
• Proficiency with Blender.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
