About the role
BlueSteel Solutions is seeking an Audit Officer to join its finance team in Lagos. The role focuses on identifying financial risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting the integrity of financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Identify financial risks, detect errors or fraud, and prepare audit reports.
- Review financial statements, ledgers, and transactions for accuracy.
- Test internal controls and evaluate systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify operational weak spots that could lead to financial loss or fraud.
- Document audit findings and verify implementation of prior recommendations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in auditing or a similar role.
