Associate Web Developer

About the role

Tech Pipeline is looking for an Associate Web Developer to support a Nigerian fintech client. You will help keep internal web portals reliable, fast, and user‑friendly for non‑technical staff while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review system logs to diagnose and fix data‑transfer issues in internal web forms.
• Update HTML and CSS components to improve dashboard layout and usability.
• Assist in migrating legacy pages to a more stable framework for higher transaction volumes.
• Write clear technical documentation for web tools and their maintenance.
• Test new features across multiple browsers to ensure consistent user experience.
• Identify and remove redundant JavaScript or CSS that slows page load times.
• Participate in daily code reviews and collaborate with senior developers.
• Coordinate updates with a fully remote team to avoid disrupting existing processes.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, acquired through study or a coding boot‑camp.
• Logical problem‑solving mindset with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to explain technical issues in plain English.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version‑control systems.
• Curiosity about fintech operations and how web tools can improve data accessibility.
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn backend APIs.
