Accountant – Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. You will support project funding, payroll, tax compliance and overall financial reporting for a manufacturing and warehousing business.

Key responsibilities

• Process all accounting transactions including disbursements, cash receipts, credit control and project fund reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly pay slips, VAT, PAYE filings, general ledger and bank reconciliation statements.
• Generate financial statements, staff payroll, inventory management reports and post‑project financial debriefs.
• Maintain accurate cash withdrawal and deposit records and ensure credit control across all projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors, manage payments, travel and logistics arrangements for the team.
• Assist project teams with budget preparation, monitoring, invoice processing and produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as an accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
