About the role
We are seeking a passionate Yoruba Teacher to join Tekhols Schools in Ibadan. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons to students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and school objectives.
- Teach vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and oral communication skills.
- Organize cultural activities, language clubs, and drama presentations to immerse students in Yoruba culture.
- Create quizzes, set examinations, and assess student progress regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom materials.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Strong command of the Yoruba language and ability to convey concepts clearly.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Required skills
- Curriculum development and lesson planning.
