Writer (Content Creation)

About the role

The Writer will create clear, engaging written material for both internal and external audiences at EDLIS Integrated Service LTD. Based in Owerri, this full‑time, on‑site role involves producing articles, reports, marketing collateral and corporate communications that reflect the company’s brand voice and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Research assigned topics and gather information from various sources.
• Draft, revise and proofread documents such as articles, reports, marketing materials and internal communications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with organizational goals and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to obtain input, refine messaging and meet project deadlines.
• Perform basic editing and maintain a library of written resources for future use.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines.

Required profile

• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities with attention to clarity, grammar and style.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, accurate content.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for working with various departments.
• Good organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle several projects.
• Proficiency with standard office and document tools (e.g., word processing and basic formatting software).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience creating professional content is a plus.
