Workshop Manager

About the role

Trevi Foundations Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the operations of its heavy‑equipment workshop. The role ensures that piling, foundation and construction machinery are maintained to the highest standards, supporting projects across Lagos, Port Harcourt and other sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop activities, guaranteeing availability and reliability of rotary piling rigs, CFA rigs, crawler cranes, excavators, generators, compressors and batching plants.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance for all plant and machinery.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team of supervisors, mechanics, electricians, hydraulic technicians, welders and fabricators.
• Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization to project sites and monitor performance, downtime and maintenance costs.
• Manage workshop budgets, spare‑parts inventory, procurement and cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, company procedures, HSE regulations and quality management systems.
• Lead equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, root‑cause analysis and reliability improvement programs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service histories and equipment documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of heavy‑equipment maintenance experience, including at least 5 years in a workshop‑manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven background in piling, foundation, heavy construction, mining or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Nigeria as needed.
