About the role
The company is seeking a skilled Welding & Fabrication Technician to join its team across several states in Nigeria. The role involves building and maintaining steel structures, repairing machinery, and ensuring high‑quality welds on a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate steel structures and other project components.
- Repair and assemble machines and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings, take measurements, and plan layouts.
- Weld components using manual or semi‑automatic equipment.
- Test and regularly inspect welded structures for quality and safety.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Mechanical/Welding Engineering or related technical field.
- AWS welding certification is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- Knowledge of safety standards and ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Capability to create bills of material for simple projects.
