Tank Jack Operator

About the role

Piecurve Energy Projects Limited is looking for an experienced Tank Jack Operator to manage double piston tank jacking systems for tank rehabilitation projects. The role involves safe, controlled lifting and lowering of storage tanks in line with project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor double piston tank jacking equipment during lifting and lowering cycles.
• Conduct pre‑operation inspections to confirm equipment is safe and functional.
• Coordinate with supervisors, rigging, mechanical teams and other site personnel to ensure synchronized operations.
• Monitor hydraulic pressure, lifting levels, equipment performance and load distribution throughout the job.
• Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements and Permit‑to‑Work requirements.
• Identify and report equipment defects, unsafe conditions and operational anomalies.
• Maintain accurate operational records and report incidents or near‑misses promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating double piston tank jacking systems for storage tank construction or rehabilitation.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulic tank jacking equipment and synchronized lifting operations.
• Relevant technical training or certification in tank jacking operations (advantageous).
• Good understanding of HSE requirements, lifting procedures and hazard identification.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Valid evidence of relevant work experience and competency.
