Web Designer (Remote Volunteer)

About the role

The Edvolve Foundation is seeking a remote volunteer Web Designer to shape and maintain its online presence. You will create engaging, user‑friendly web experiences that support the organization’s mission of advancing education, human capital, and good governance.

Key responsibilities

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and visually appealing web pages.
• Implement responsive, mobile‑first designs to ensure optimal performance across devices.
• Maintain and update website content regularly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with team members to improve functionality.

Required profile

• Strong eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Prior experience with non‑profit or volunteer projects is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile‑first design principles.
