Web Designer – E‑Commerce (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Web‑Focused E‑Commerce Designer to create high‑performing Shopify stores and conversion‑driven landing pages. The role is remote, part‑time (20 hrs/week) with the possibility to grow into a full‑time position.

Key responsibilities

• Design Shopify layouts, including homepages, product detail pages and collection pages.
• Develop wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes in Figma with a strong focus on CRO.
• Ensure mobile‑first, responsive designs for all web assets.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Translate brand guidelines into digital‑first visual languages.
• Produce variations of UI elements for A/B testing and performance analysis.
• Use AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to generate imagery and accelerate workflow.
• Integrate AI‑enhanced processes for retouching, layout exploration and content variation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional design experience, primarily in e‑commerce web design.
• Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and its technical constraints.
• Strong knowledge of user psychology, heatmaps and conversion funnels.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven asset generation.

Required skills

• Figma (auto‑layout, components, prototyping)
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Midjourney and Adobe Firefly (AI image generation)
• Shopify (and Shopify Plus)
• After Effects (basic motion design)
