Wealth Manager (Sales)

About the role

Alert Group is seeking a full‑time Wealth Manager (Sales) to join its asset‑management division in Lagos. You will be responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, turning prospects into long‑term investors for our wealth‑management and financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and convert high‑net‑worth and SME clients.
• Assess client financial goals and recommend suitable investment solutions.
• Prepare tailored proposals, conduct portfolio reviews and track market trends.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and other internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and excellent client service.
• Meet defined sales targets and represent the firm at networking events.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business‑development abilities, with proven prospecting and lead‑conversion experience.
• Good understanding of wealth‑management, asset‑management and investment products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills for high‑net‑worth and SME clients.
• Analytical mindset with basic portfolio analysis, risk assessment and market research capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field; professional certifications (CFA, CIS, etc.) are a plus.
• Previous experience in wealth management, asset management, banking or financial services.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Competence in Microsoft Word.
• General digital productivity tools.
