Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations in Abeokuta. The role involves overseeing receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of deliveries to ensure timely receipt and shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO stock rotation and monitor product shelf life.
• Assign tasks, train and motivate staff, and monitor performance against targets.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and security procedures and report incidents.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and track KPIs such as order accuracy and productivity.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics and finance teams to optimise inventory levels and supply‑chain flow.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in supply chain or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in FMCG, retail or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and stock management.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to FMCG operations.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP inventory modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to use inventory management software for stock tracking.
