Warehouse Facility Manager – Lagos

About the role

The Warehouse Facility Manager is responsible for safeguarding Sun King's warehouse environment in Lagos. You will ensure operational readiness, safety compliance, lease adherence, security, asset protection and sustainability of the facility so that warehouse teams can work without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day facility operations, including utilities, security, HVAC, racking and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with approved service providers, monitor vendor performance against SLAs and resolve service failures promptly.
• Conduct regular inspection walk‑throughs, document defects, safety hazards and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain a detailed facility maintenance register and review it monthly with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Manage lease compliance, rent payments, service charges, fit‑out approvals and act as liaison with landlords and regulators.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies for safety, security, lease obligations and asset protection.
• Lead HSE compliance, schedule audits, fire drills and ensure all corrective actions are closed.
• Oversee insurance policies for the facility, stock and equipment, tracking renewals and coordinating with Finance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility or warehouse management.
• Strong knowledge of local safety, fire and HSE regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and negotiate service contracts.
• Familiarity with lease agreements and risk management processes.
