Warehouse Associate – Solar Inverter

About the role

The Warehouse Associate – Solar Inverter is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day flow of inverter products and accessories in the regional warehouse in Kano. The role ensures accurate receipt, storage, profiling and dispatch of items while maintaining inventory integrity and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments of inverters, batteries, cables and other accessories, conduct physical inspections and verify quantities.
• Update inventory records in Sun King’s ERP system and perform barcode/RFID scanning for each item.
• Profile products in the inventory system (SAP WM or equivalent) within 24 hours, capturing model, serial number and other identifiers.
• Store items in designated bins, maintain segregation of models, and reorganise stock based on movement patterns.
• Pick, scan and prepare outbound orders or internal transfers, ensuring correct serial numbers and accompanying documents.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment and report any discrepancies, damages or hazards.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Warehouse Coordinator and team members.

Required skills

• Barcode and RFID scanning
• Experience with SAP WM or similar warehouse management systems
• Proficiency in using ERP inventory modules
• Basic computer skills for updating Google tracking files
