Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Abeokuta. You will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving retail and FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Load, unload, sort and move products safely within the warehouse.
• Store items in designated locations following warehouse procedures.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for timely dispatch.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock‑taking and reconciliation.
• Update inventory records and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, storage areas and loading bays.
• Label, package and arrange products according to company standards.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trolleys.
• Follow health, safety and security procedures and support additional logistics duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE, OND or equivalent qualification.
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry and move goods safely.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Honest, dependable and detail‑oriented.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.

• Hand trolley operation.
