Venture Lead, Nigeria

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Venture Lead to drive SPRAY’s launch in Nigeria. Based in Lagos, you will act as the bridge between founders, engineers, designers and the local ecosystem, ensuring the product, payments and partner integrations move forward quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap: coordinate developers, test builds, flag bugs and validate UI/UX decisions before release.
• Lead payments integration: manage discussions with banks, PSPs and fintechs, oversee virtual accounts, KYC, settlements and future wallet features.
• Launch pilot stores: recruit and onboard 5‑30 flagship creators, fashion, food and service partners for the first SPRAY stores.
• Build go‑to‑market pipeline: create a database of ~500 potential sellers, conduct outreach, gather feedback and prepare partners for launch.
• Represent SPRAY locally with creators, agencies, logistics firms and financial institutions.
• Maintain a master roadmap, track deliverables, document decisions and keep founders informed of progress and blockers.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of technology and product development, able to communicate effectively with engineers and designers.
• Comfortable engaging with banks, fintechs and payment providers.
• Deep knowledge of Lagos culture and how young Nigerians buy, sell and build online businesses.
• Hands‑on, proactive and able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
