Vendor & Procurement Manager

About the role

GreenBay Market is seeking a Vendor & Procurement Manager to lead its procurement function in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers that support the company’s electronics and home‑appliance marketplace, ensuring cost‑effective and compliant purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify reliable vendors and benchmark pricing.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and service level agreements with local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement improvement plans.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant procurement regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply‑chain roles, preferably within electronics or technology.
• Strong analytical abilities for data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management skills.
