Logistics Lead

About the role

Harmony Gardens & Estate Development Limited is looking for an experienced Logistics Lead to oversee the movement of construction materials, equipment, vehicles and personnel across its projects. The role ensures timely, safe and cost‑effective logistics while maintaining fleet utilisation and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics plans, coordinate requirements across projects and manage transportation schedules.
• Oversee the company’s logistics fleet, including construction trucks, site vehicles, staff transport and heavy equipment, ensuring maintenance, licensing and insurance.
• Coordinate timely delivery of construction materials, monitor schedules and prevent delays.
• Schedule deployment of equipment and machinery, track availability and support maintenance planning.
• Monitor fuel consumption, maintain accurate cost records and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Identify logistics risks, develop contingency plans and escalates significant issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly logistics performance reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong experience in fleet and transportation management within a construction environment.
• Excellent planning, coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of moving construction materials and equipment efficiently.
• Good understanding of fleet maintenance, utilisation and fuel cost control.
• Strong problem‑solving, contingency‑planning and reporting skills.
• High integrity, accountability and ability to work under pressure.
• Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, Engineering or related field; professional certification is a plus.
