Van Sales Representative

About the role

The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring product availability across a defined territory in Lagos. You will operate a company van, visit retail outlets on a scheduled route, and build strong relationships with customers to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales and distribution targets within the designated territory.
• Maintain adequate stock in the van to meet customer demand.
• Visit customers regularly according to approved route plans and call schedules.
• Promote company products using effective selling techniques and maintain merchandising standards.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product performance.
• Prepare and submit daily sales and activity reports.
• Operate company sales applications and devices efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• 6 months to 1 year of sales experience, preferably in FMCG distribution.
• Valid Driver's License and LASDRI certificate where applicable.
• Good knowledge of assigned routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasive selling abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and deliver excellent customer service.
