Value-Added Services Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Value‑Added Services (VAS) Engineer to join our technical team. You will be responsible for deploying, supporting and maintaining VAS platforms such as SMS, USSD, IVR, CRBT and mobile application services for telecom operators.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and support VAS platforms and related applications.
• Manage services including SMS, USSD, IVR, CRBT, content portals and messaging platforms.
• Integrate with billing systems, charging gateways, SMSCs, USSD gateways and third‑party APIs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot faults and ensure high availability.
• Perform database queries, log analysis, system health checks and generate service reports.
• Collaborate with development, network, billing and customer support teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in telecom VAS, application support or platform operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
• Experience working with telecom operators, aggregators or VAS platforms is a plus.
