About the role
A TV station in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is looking for a TV Anchor to present news bulletins and TV programmes on air. The position is full-time, Monday to Saturday, with a part-time option open to discussion.
Key responsibilities
- Present news bulletins and TV programmes confidently on air
- Research, write and deliver news scripts professionally
- Conduct interviews and moderate discussions
- Maintain a professional appearance and diction on camera
- Collaborate with the production and editorial team
- Uphold the station's brand and journalistic integrity
Required profile
- Degree in Mass Communication, Theatre Arts, English & Linguistics, Literature or a similar relevant course
- Proven experience as a TV Anchor, Presenter or Broadcaster
- Excellent communication, diction and on-camera presence
- Mature, confident and presentable
- Passion for news and current affairs
- Must be a resident of Port Harcourt
