Treasury Manager

About the role

The Treasury Manager will lead treasury and settlement activities for CIG Motors' Nigerian entities, ensuring optimal cash utilization, liquidity planning, and compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce treasury and settlement policies, procedures, and delegated authority guidelines.
• Monitor daily cash balances across entities and allocate internal funds to minimise idle cash.
• Prepare monthly treasury funding plans, weekly cash receipts/payments reports, and variance analyses.
• Maintain relationships with banks and coordinate banking transactions.
• Support loan applications, financing arrangements and other funding activities.
• Identify treasury‑related risks and implement corrective controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations and internal controls.
• Drive improvements in treasury management systems, policies and procedures.
• Supervise, train and develop treasury and settlement staff.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and other departments for seamless treasury execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of finance or treasury experience, including at least 2 years in a cash‑management or settlement role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, treasury management, cash‑flow forecasting and corporate finance processes.
• Experience in banking, corporate treasury or financial management is an advantage.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling expertise.
• Experience with treasury management software.
