Travel Agent / Consultant

About the role

Univacity Ltd is seeking an experienced Travel Agent/Consultant to guide clients through business, leisure and experiential trips. You will match travelers with suitable destinations, itineraries and logistics, ensuring a smooth booking experience from the first inquiry to the return journey.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand travel purpose, budget, preferences and constraints.
• Plan and book flights, accommodation, transport, tours and travel insurance for various trip types.
• Advise on visa requirements, travel documentation and entry regulations.
• Source and negotiate rates with airlines, hotels, tour operators and other partners.
• Manage end‑to‑end trip logistics, including itinerary changes, cancellations and last‑minute adjustments.
• Provide destination expertise, covering local customs, safety considerations and optimal travel times.
• Handle corporate travel bookings, recurring travel needs and expense documentation.
• Maintain accurate client and booking records using Univacity’s CRM or travel management platform.
• Resolve travel disruptions such as flight delays or cancellations promptly and professionally.
• Build long‑term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a travel agent, consultant or in a related advisory role.
• Proven ability to book and manage business, leisure and group tourism trips.
• Working knowledge of visa requirements and travel documentation for major destinations.
• Familiarity with airline booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo) or similar travel agency software.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple client itineraries simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities, especially under time‑sensitive pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
