Teller – Customer Service & Cash Management

About the role

We are looking for a trustworthy Teller to join our Dawakin Kudu branch. The role involves handling daily cash transactions and delivering efficient counter services while maintaining strict compliance and excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan repayments and other over‑the‑counter transactions accurately.
• Verify customer identities and transaction documentation before processing.
• Post all transactions to the bank’s core banking system and ensure correct recording.
• Maintain an assigned cash till, conduct daily cash counts and reconcile balances.
• Escalate any cash shortages, excesses or discrepancies promptly.
• Provide courteous, professional service and respond to customer enquiries.
• Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, AML/CFT, KYC policies and internal procedures.
• Assist with branch opening and closing, support vault operations and keep the teller workstation organized.

• Willingness to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using the bank’s core banking system for transaction posting.
• Knowledge of CBN regulations, AML/CFT and KYC procedures.
• Cash handling, counting and reconciliation skills.
