Telemedicine General Practitioner (Remote)

About the role

iSON Health is expanding its telemedicine network across Nigeria and seeks qualified General Practitioners to deliver virtual medical consultations. This remote position allows doctors to supplement their practice by consulting patients on a pay‑per‑consultation basis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audio and video consultations with patients via the iSON Health platform.
• Assess health conditions, provide medical advice, and recommend treatment plans.
• Issue digital prescriptions in line with Nigerian medical regulations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records for each patient.
• Escalate emergencies and refer patients to appropriate facilities when needed.
• Adhere to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognised in Nigeria.
• Valid medical licence to practice in Nigeria.
• Minimum two years post‑internship clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication and patient‑management abilities.
• Comfortable using digital healthcare platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop or desktop for consultations.
