Technical Service Support Engineer

About the role

Alpha ESS is seeking a Technical Service Support Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison for customers, installers and partners throughout the product lifecycle. The role combines on‑site installations, system testing, troubleshooting and after‑sales support for our stationary electricity storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, installers and business partners from delivery to de‑commissioning.
• Perform field installations, conduct system tests and resolve operational issues on‑site.
• Manage customer complaints, coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Organise spare‑parts inventory, maintain after‑sales documentation and update service records.
• Collect performance data during field testing and report findings to internal teams for continuous improvement.
• Deliver technical training to dealers, installers and service partners on installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation or a related discipline.
• Experience in energy storage, photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Strong hands‑on ability to install and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to support both business customers and end‑users.
• Customer‑oriented, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
