Technical Sales Engineer – Construction & Heavy Machinery

Diversity Talent Management Limited is looking for a results‑driven Technical Sales Engineer to expand its footprint in the construction and heavy‑machinery sector across Nigeria. The role combines deep technical expertise with proactive sales activities to match client needs with the right equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle for earth‑moving and heavy‑machinery products such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, dumpers and wide‑body trucks.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, key buyers and decision‑makers in the construction and infrastructure market.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations that align equipment capabilities with client operational requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, negotiate terms and close contracts to meet growth targets.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and upcoming infrastructure projects to identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering.
• 6‑8 years of proven technical sales experience in the construction and heavy‑machinery industry.
• Demonstrated success selling earth‑moving equipment to construction customers and contractors.
• Strong network and commercial understanding of the Nigerian construction sector.
