Technical Operations Assistant

About the role

The Technical Operations Assistant will support the Managing Director in overseeing day-to-day operations across Swift Consulting’s construction and architectural projects. This role blends operational coordination with technical analysis to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct operational and technical support to the Managing Director, including attending meetings and preparing reports.
• Coordinate and monitor ongoing architectural, engineering, and construction projects.
• Oversee daily operational processes, systems, and documentation across the firm.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, technical reports, and business correspondence.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, and technical analysis as required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor project performance, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
• Support the management team in strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Project Management, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of project management and business operations.
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or similar design/project management software.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
