Technical Assistant to Managing Director

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Technical Assistant to support the Managing Director of a leading architectural design firm in Lagos. The role blends administrative duties with technical project support, offering a pathway to higher management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct technical and administrative assistance to the Managing Director.
• Coordinate and monitor ongoing architectural, engineering, and construction projects.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the MD, preparing minutes, reports, and action plans.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, and technical analyses as required.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, documentation, and quality control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, technical reports, and business correspondence.
• Monitor project performance to ensure deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Project Management, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of project management and business operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
