Technical Assistant – Oil & Gas Executive Support

About the role

The Technical Assistant will support senior executives in the Oil & Gas sector by providing high‑level administrative, analytical and stakeholder coordination services. The role combines executive assistance with data‑driven insights to enable informed decision‑making and drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage executive calendars, travel, meetings and prepare briefing materials and presentations.
• Collect, analyse and visualise operational and commercial data, develop dashboards and performance reports for leadership.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and deliver concise executive insights.
• Utilise Excel, Power BI, ERP and other tools to automate reporting and resolve system issues.
• Coordinate cross‑functional information flow, ensure timely follow‑up on actions and act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in executive support, strategy, business analysis or data analytics within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills with high discretion.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with ERP or similar productivity systems.
