Team Lead – Field Recovery

About the role

Renmoney is seeking a dynamic Team Lead to head its Field Recovery function. You will be responsible for overseeing the collection of outstanding debts while ensuring a positive experience for customers across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Field Recovery Officers, providing tools and motivation to excel.
• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies that balance customer care with collection goals.
• Monitor performance metrics, deliver regular feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage directly with clients to resolve issues and negotiate amicable debt settlements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share insights and enhance overall customer experience.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations to ensure ethical recovery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field recovery or debt collections, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of recovery processes and customer relationship management.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
