Tax Analyst (Remote Contract)

About the role

The Tax Analyst at DonJed Energy is a remote contract position responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s tax position in line with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting compliance filings, and assisting with tax planning initiatives to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support tax compliance filings and coordinate with external advisors.
• Assist finance and leadership teams with tax planning initiatives.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
• Conduct research on tax‑related issues and provide clear analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on tax matters.
• Support audits or tax inquiries from authorities.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong tax‑focused skills, including tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
• Solid analytical ability to interpret tax data and identify trends.
• Relevant experience in corporate or public tax roles, preferably in energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field; CPA, ACA or similar certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines and communicate complex tax matters clearly.
