Tally Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Tally Accountant to join our finance team in Ibadan. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and supporting compliance for our agro‑allied operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records using Tally ERP.
• Prepare, verify, and post entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Track inventory valuation in coordination with store and production teams.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Support statutory compliance, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings.
• Monitor and analyse financial data for accuracy and policy adherence.
• Provide documentation and reports for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in agro‑allied, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Tally ERP (version 9 or newer).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 250,000 to NGN 400,000 per month.
• Full‑time position based in Ibadan, Oyo State.
