System Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Security

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a highly skilled System Administrator to ensure the stability, performance and security of its entire IT environment. This fully onsite position will support core networking, server systems and end‑user automation across a fast‑growing fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a robust IT infrastructure, including servers and virtualization platforms.
• Administer and optimise Windows Server, Linux systems and hybrid cloud environments.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Implement network security protocols, VLANs, VPNs, network segmentation and core services like DNS, DHCP and Directory as a Service.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and use IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) for scalable deployments.
• Build monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana or Nagios and automate system provisioning.
• Enforce IT security policies, manage endpoint protection, patch management and user authentication systems.
