Surveyor

About the role

POWERCHINA is looking for an experienced Surveyor to carry out land and engineering surveys, collect and analyse field data, and support geotechnical and construction projects. The role requires precise measurement work and close collaboration with project teams to ensure accurate deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, engineering and site surveys across various project locations.
• Operate surveying equipment such as GPS, Total Station and Auto Level.
• Collect, process and interpret survey data to produce reliable results.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps and drawings for engineering teams.
• Ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support site operations.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant surveying experience.
• Ability to work on‑site and travel as required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS surveying equipment.
• Proficiency with Total Station instruments.
• Proficiency with Auto Level devices.
• Experience using surveying data processing software.
