Survey & Network Design Engineer

About the role

Timeless Telecom is hiring a Survey & Network Design Engineer in Ikeja. The role covers designing network layouts, preparing project documentation, assessing sites and ensuring installations meet standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop network designs using tools such as AutoCAD, Visio and GIS, and create BoQs, schematic diagrams and project scopes.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and revise them based on field feedback.
• Conduct site assessments for LAN, WLAN, GPON and CCTV, capturing geo-coordinates, terrain layout and site conditions.
• Share real-time field data with the design team and inspect installations for standards adherence.
• Identify and verify corrections of snags, and prepare quality assurance and compliance reports.
• Maintain safety and functional standards.

Required profile

• Proficiency in fiber-optic and wireless network design.
• Experience with network design tools (Visio, Edraw or AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of local telecommunications regulations.
• Preferred: CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification.
