Supply & Procurement Officer

About the role

The Supply & Procurement Officer will oversee the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring accurate order handling, timely delivery, and effective communication between customers, OEMs, and internal teams. This role supports the company's operations in the oil and gas sector by maintaining inventory integrity and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and correct discrepancies in customer and OEM purchase orders before external communication.
• Maintain and monitor an open‑orders spreadsheet, tracking progress from placement to delivery.
• Record all communications with OEMs and customers regarding orders.
• Generate reports on purchase‑order status, completion dates, and production challenges.
• Provide weekly updates to customers on order status and estimated delivery dates.
• Pass relevant order information to logistics and other colleagues for processing.
• Inspect received orders for correct quantity and product specifications.
• Update goods inventory records and accompany deliveries to customers or warehouses within Nigeria.
• Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs) as needed.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and honesty.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
