Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist

About the role

Kenkeputa is looking for a proactive Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end sourcing of smartphones, accessories and spare parts. You will work in a fast‑paced startup environment, coordinating with global suppliers and local logistics partners to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, evaluate and onboard device suppliers locally and internationally.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, warranties and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of smartphones, accessories, spare parts and related inventory.
• Manage import documentation, customs clearance and logistics with freight forwarders.
• Track shipments, resolve delays and maintain accurate supplier databases.
• Support inventory forecasting, replenishment planning and cross‑functional coordination with operations, sales and finance.
• Prepare procurement reports, pricing comparisons and landed‑cost analyses.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics or vendor management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, ambiguous startup setting.
• Familiarity with smartphone or electronics procurement and Nigerian import processes is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.
