Study Abroad Counselor / Student Advisor

About the role

Univacity Ltd is seeking an experienced Study Abroad Counselor to support prospective students throughout their international education journey. You will provide personalized guidance from initial consultation to pre‑departure preparation, ensuring a smooth and successful experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one consultations (in‑person, phone, or video) to assess academic goals, budget, and preferences.
• Recommend suitable study destinations, institutions, and programs.
• Assist students with the full application process, including documentation, personal statements, and recommendation letters.
• Provide visa guidance, financial documentation advice, and compliance support for target countries.
• Track each student’s pipeline from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Maintain relationships with partner universities and stay updated on admission requirements.
• Deliver pre‑departure briefings covering accommodation, cultural adjustment, and logistics.
• Record interactions and document status in Univacity’s CRM platform.
• Collaborate with marketing on webinars, info sessions, and outreach events.
• Meet targets for applications, conversions, and successful enrollments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in study abroad counseling, international student advising, or education consulting.
• Proven track record guiding students through university applications and visa processes.
• Strong knowledge of admissions and visa procedures for at least two major destinations (e.g., UK, US, Canada, Australia, Europe).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Counseling, or a related field.
