Mobile App Development Instructor

About the role

The Mobile App Development Instructor will deliver practical, hands‑on training in mobile application development. You will guide students through the full lifecycle of building functional apps, from UI design to deployment, while keeping the curriculum up‑to‑date with industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons on mobile development concepts, frameworks and best practices.
• Lead hands‑on coding exercises and real‑world projects, providing feedback on student code.
• Teach UI implementation, navigation, API integration, database usage and app publishing processes.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, practical exercises and assessment materials.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests and project deliverables.
• Maintain a supportive learning environment and keep course content current with emerging tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong practical experience in mobile app development and proficiency in at least one framework such as Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Java or Swift.
• Good understanding of mobile architecture, APIs, databases, authentication and third‑party integrations.
• Experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub a plus).
• Knowledge of testing, debugging and deployment of mobile applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to learners of varying skill levels.
• Previous teaching, mentoring or industry experience is advantageous.
